If an expected incoming payment is missing, possible reasons include:
- ·Processing time – Bank transfers can take up to 1–2 business days, depending on the sender's bank. International transfers may take longer.
- ·Details check – Ask the sender to verify they used the correct details (sort code and account number / IBAN, and SWIFT/BIC if required).
- ·Pending posting – Some transfers aren't posted until after the bank's daily cut-off time.
