If you’ve accidentally sent money to the wrong person, follow these steps to try to get the funds back.
Step 1: Consider whether you know the recipient
- If you know the person or have transferred to them before, please contact them directly.
- As a rule, banks do not intervene in transfers between parties who know each other.
Step 2: Identify how the money was sent
- Bank transfer – Contact our support immediately with transfer details (date, amount, account number). We’ll help investigate further.
- Payment slip (indbetalingskort) – Contact our support and provide the relevant payment details.
- MobilePay – Contact MobilePay support directly, as they handle these transfers.
Step 3: If you don’t recognize the transfer or suspect fraud
- Contact our support right away.
- We’ll review the case with you and take the necessary steps.
